Some history

A little about this beautiful club. The Allegheny Country Club has its origins in 1895 and was originally located on Pittsburgh’s North Side. The club quickly outgrew its facility there and in May 1902, opened on its present 150 Acre site a mile above the town of Sewickley. We’ll be treated to views of the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania as we feast on a marvelous array of delectable small plates of some of our favorite items!

 So, who will be our host for this amazing evening? Maître d’ Table and General Manager Simon Carey, Executive Chef Dustin Bates, and their talented staff, that’s who!

After listening to guests at the 60th plus 1 Gala, there was overwhelming support for having an extended reception with champagne (of course), rather than a formal sit-down event for our holiday evening. While we will have assigned seating, members and their guests will be able to “elegantly graze” and talk with friends at their leisure.

 This is also an Induction evening. If you have a guest that would like to join the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, please let us know.
